Laurie graduated from Chicago's Midwest School Of Dog Grooming in 1989 and has been showing dogs in Canada and the United States since 1987.

This is Coco, Alina's rescue pup who is part Shih Tzu. She is the reason Alina became interested in a grooming career and why she loves grooming Shih Tzu's and Shih Tzu mixes.

This style requires grooming visits every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting which can result in a shave down.
Abby comes in every 4 weeks and alternates between a bath and tidy and full grooms.
Miniature Poodle in an Hand Scissored Asian Fusion style. This is a specialty style that requires lots of hand scissoring, which means his groom is preformed with scissors rather than clippers. Hand scissoring requires a high level of skill and extra time.
George is groomed every 2-3 weeks to maintain this length and stay knot free.

This style begins with a deshedding treatment. Once the deshed is complete and a fine tooth comb can glide through the furnishings, trimming can begin.
The furnishings, which include the pants, belly, front legs, chest, tail and ears, are trimmed and blended into the body coat. The length can be done to owners request.
